The usual way
Your data takes a trip.
What you type, say or add is uploaded to someone else’s computers, worked on there, and sent back. You need an account, you often pay per use, and your data lives on a server you don’t control.
Meet Pip
A family of small AI apps that run entirely on your own device.
No app store. No account. Nothing uploaded. Ever.
The apps
Each Pip does one thing well. Pick the one you need: it downloads once, then does all its work right inside the page.
Something new
Until recently, using AI meant sending your words, photos and voice across the internet to a company’s computers. Not anymore. The browser you’re using right now is powerful enough to run AI all by itself, the same way it plays videos or games.
The usual way
What you type, say or add is uploaded to someone else’s computers, worked on there, and sent back. You need an account, you often pay per use, and your data lives on a server you don’t control.
The Pip way
Each Pip downloads its AI once, then does everything inside the web page, on your own computer. Nothing you type, say or add goes anywhere. No sign-up. No credits. No limits.
How it works
Every Pip works the same way. There are no settings to learn and nothing to install.
Choose the app for what you want to do. Each one is its own web page, so you only get what you need.
Press one button and it fetches its AI, telling you the size first. It’s kept in your browser, so next time it’s ready in moments.
Talk, write, paint or play. Everything happens on your device, and what you make is yours to keep.
Privacy
Yes. There’s no account, no subscription, no credits and no ads. Your own device does the work, so there are no servers for us to charge you for.
No. Each Pip is separate. Open the one you want, and only its AI is downloaded. You can add others whenever you like.
No. The only thing that comes from the internet is the app itself, the first time you start it. After that, everything you type, say or add is handled right inside the page. Nothing is ever sent anywhere.
An AI is a bit like a very big app. To work on your device, your browser needs its own copy. Each Pip tells you its size before anything downloads, and keeps its copy in your browser so the next visit starts in moments.
For most Pips, a recent laptop or desktop with the latest Chrome or Edge. Safari on recent Macs may work too. Each app lists what it needs on its card above. Phones and tablets may not be able to run every app yet.
Open that app and look in its Questions section: each one has a button that removes everything it saved in your browser. You’d just download it again next time.
